Hi Vamsi,
Since ISAM 8.0.1.2 the concept of "Management Interface" and "Application Interface" at the NIC level is removed. All NICs are the same and the concept of "Management" vs "Application" is applied at the IP address level.
You can definitely have both Management and Application IP addresses on the same NIC. These can be in the same or different subnets. (note recommendation is NOT to have IP addresses in the same subnet spread across multiple NICs).
Whether you prefer to keep Management and Application IPs on different NICs is a matter of design and, maybe, security. In a physical system it may be preferred to have management and application traffic on different physical networks to mitigate risk of contamination or cross-over between the two.
I hope this helps.
Cheers... Jon.

Subject: Management & Application IP Address on Management NIC
Hello,
In ISAM, can we have both Management & Application IP address configured on Management Interface(with single VNIC). What is the recommended approach of configuring the virtual NICs for Management/Application.
Thanks
