malloc: There is not enough memory available now.

    We checked and found that there are many defunct processes on the server. The problem is that we are not able to kill these process moreover we have enough paging space with us. Here if Main memory is getting full then why the paging space is not being getting used?.

    lsps -s

    Total Paging Space Percent Used
    19200MB 11%
    Please help me on this how to resolve this issue.
