LPAR Info: 1 06-5ECDG.Does this mean an LPAR is created? We dont have a HMC .Can an LPAR be created without the HMC.If yes what are the steps to be followed?
If HMC is mandatory what are the prerequisites for the HMC.We are testing this in a lab environment. We have a P5 server with 5.3 ML 6 installed.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks to me like you've got the default LPAR which may or may not be using all the resources in the box.

I've never had the pleasure of trying to use p5 servers without an HMC so I can't comment on anything else.
