I am new to AIX world,   just looking high level sequence of steps to create a new lpar and load AIX using NIM.  We have a session on provisional tool kit for automation , I just want to understand manual steps before learn the tool kit.

Thanks Rafael , it is big book ..... while adding new machine under NIM , it is asking CPU id , how do I get that , so I can add new machine as resource before loading OS on to new lpar.
