  • 1.  logrotate question

    Hi,

    i installed the logrotate package, and there is this "/opt/freeware/etc/cron.daily" directory containing the logrotate cron job. as the aix cron daemon
    does not know anything about this voodoo how is this supposed to work?
    who or what is calling this cronjob?

    Nothing in AIX. This directory belongs to the crontabs rpm in Enterprise Linux. To use logrotate in AIX, you just need a add a crontab for root.
