  • 1.  Load runner & webMethods

    Hi all,

We are in a process of creating a web-based automated testing application using Load runner scripts. I was wondering if it would be possible to run .usr file extension which would kick off load runner application & invoke the command level mercury script? I’m creating a POC on this and would like to hear from you guys if you have built a similar application. All our services are used as a webservice.

    Your help is appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Leon

    Leon,

I’m not quite sure what you are trying to do. Does LR have the ability to generate and post web service requests?

The current version of SOAPSonar has a button that generates scripts that can be called from Mercury’s Test Director to kick of functional or load testing test cases for web services.

most of the cases when there occurs a scripting related issue, the entreprenuers are advised to hire loadruuner consultant as he is the one who knows scripting and can help you resolve the complex issues without much troubles.
