    Java program such as Tomcat should be easier. You just download them from their website and they should works fine with IBM Java if you're at right level.

    Stuff that needs to be compiled (such as MySQL) may be harder. You may look on website such as http://www.perzl.org/aix/ to see if they've been able to build them.
    If not, you'll be on your own to build and maintain them.
