I am getting an unexpected behavior while trying to export a picture in a report using IBM RPE.

The starting point is a structure of Doors modules linked together as illustrated below:

ModuleA --> ModuleB --> ModuleC

Module A has an object that, through a link, retrieves an object (with its hierarchy) in Module B. This part of the export is done properly by RPE, until an object in Module B is encountered that has a link to another object in Module C. Such object in the template is executed conditionally based on an attribute.

This last object has a picture in its text (attribute Object Text) that is correctly published in the final output file, however, the output file include the Object Text of the object in Module B. This is quite an inconvenience because it forces me to go through the output file and remove the unwanted text.

I did a bunch of tests and apparently the unwanted text is published as soon as I include in the template an paragraph without any text item retrieving the image in Module C.

For information, I am using Rational Publish Engine Version 1.3.0

Build 20101203.
