ISVA with PostgreSQL High Availability

    Our customer wants to use PostgreSQL9.6 as the external Database.
    We managed to implement this successfully in Test Environment. But he now want to do the same in Production Environment with a Highly Available solution.
    I know ISVA support PostgreSQL high availability solution.
    The problem we are facing is on PostgreSQL high availability implementation.

    Not sure of what can be done here. The customer wants to use PostgreSQL9.6 instead of DB2 but I cannot find anything similar to HADR.
    PostgreSQL synchronous replication doesn't seem to be an option. And it seems that there is not failover automation out of the box.

    Any clues?
