    Hi Team,

    We are implementing the SSO for one of the java application which is developed in JSP and Servlets.
    The application team is ready to modify the authentication mechanism and can implement the header-based authentication.

    However, they need some guidelines or the ideal way to do it.  The one way we tried by using the javax.servlet.Filter.

    Can someone suggest how it should be done ideally? Is it good to use to javax.servlet.Filter for it?
