We are considering installing the latest version of ILMT on the Virus Management Server in the customer environment.

The specifications of the Virus Management Server are currently as follows.

Is it possible to live with Virus Management Software and IMLT in this case?

■ Virus Management Server specifications

Server: IBM Cloud virtual server

CPU: 4 x 2.0 GHz Core

Memory: 8GB

OS: Windows Server2012 R2 std

Disk: 100GB

Virus management software: McAfee VirusScan Enterprise

Number of virus management software management servers: 15

Number of servers containing IBM products managed by ILMT: 6

We have confirmed that the ports used by Virus Management Software and ILMT are different.

The resources used by Virus Management Software are small, and ILMT itself is not always running.

Since we think that it will actually work only when creating a report, we are considering whether it is possible to live with Virus Management Software.
