    I'm unable to login (after trying in different browsers). Eventually the following page showed up: 

    IBM cloud (downstream failure) login error

    Thanks Luis,

    The issue was that the status page at the time I saw the trouble was displaying 'all systems operational', but I still could not login. This is why my post yesterday. Eventually I was able to log in when I tried an hour later. I can't help but assume that 'some' troubles are potentially not being reported timely in the status page.

    Good Morning Patricia,

    I receive email updates from IBM regularly about status notifications regarding various services, and Yes, IBM Cloud was down.  The message stated that multiple services were affected and it started 20 May 2025, 2:57 PM UTC and ended 20 May 2025, 5:07 PM UTC - with the update being sent at 20 May 2025, 5:41 PM UTC.  According to the message the impact was "Users may experience failures attempting to log into IBM Cloud via the UI or CLI.  API key based logins may also experience issues."  

    According to the message the issue has been resolved and all services are normal at this time.

    Thanks Daniel,

    Yes, I think the emails you mention may be key (and not the IBM status page). Unfortunately I did not receive the emails you are referring to (the last ones I received were announcing a high impact maintenance downtime for May 13th). It looks like I may need to look into re-configuring my notifications from IBM. Thanks!
