Dear Community ,

I tried to install the webMFREEDownload910(Win64bit).zip Package on windows 7 Machine. I selected the follwoing Packages in the Installer :

• My webMethods Server
• Integration Server
• Designers
• Adapters->The JDBC one

All the Packages have been succusfully installed till the following Package and I get this Message below :

Kann you please give me some hints about that ? I followed the Installation Guide but this didnot helps. Which
Mistake I did ? In the Attachment also the Screenshoots of the installation

thanks for your answer. I can not find any thing in the Start Menu related to IS . But the Structure of the SAG Folder looks like the Picture_1 and there is an IntegrationServer Folder. The IntegrationServer Folder has also the Folder as in Picture_2 and the bin Dir has the content like Picture_3 . There is no startup Batch …etc. seems to be that the IS have not been installed correctly . I deinstalled everything and installed that many times and its the same Error !!

It means installation is not properly done. PFA one which shows directories inside IntegrationServer if it successfully installed. Better un-install, check you have all necessary permissions and install again. Write back if you see issues.

I deinstalled Software AG from the control panel , but unfortunately in the End of the deinstallation I get the follwoing Error, its the same as in the Installation :

Seems to be that the name of th IS can not be found. After exit the deinstallation some folder still in the SAG folder as in the Picture_4. Should I remove them manualy ? is there any entries in the Registery related to the installation/deinstallation ? What is your Input at this point ? Im really lost now

Do you mean, you have un-installed wM but still some FS’s exist. If yes, you can manually delete. Now when you are installing again, use a different FS like C:\wM99\

Also, for IS,use a port 5656 other than 5555 and give a try.

I did exactly what you mentioned , C:\wM99\ installation Folder and changed the Port to 5656 but unfortunately the same Error

in the Start Menu under Software AG I can only see the Software AG Designer 9.10.

I am not sure whether the issue is with trial image or with system. Did you check with your colleagues whether anyone tried to install trial wM9.10 ?

Let me help you here, I have installed the trial version 910 on my PC (Win 7 64-bit it works like a charm). I hope your image size would be 2.72 GB, please check and verify. Lets start over the steps again.

1> Go to control panel and look for Software AG Products and uninstall (for now ignore the errors that you encounter)
2> Go to the installation folder and manually delete any Software AG folder and clear the recycle bin
3> Go to location (say C:\Users\Mahesh) and delete work-space folder for any Software AG, in-your case this must not exist but still.
4> Run the SAG installer “Run as Administrator” I hope you have the administration privileges.
5> After running the SAG installer, navigate and locate the image, name the installation folder as SoftwareAG910 and select the products that you need from the product tree
6> Wait for the installation to complete, you may also open the install log located at (C:\SoftwareAG910\install\logs)
7> Once the installation is complete go to SoftwareAG910>Start Servers>Start Integration Server 9.10>Start default and open the server.log located at (C:\SoftwareAG910\IntegrationServer\instances\default\logs)

Out of context though, one question related to webMethods 9.10 release.
Does it support MS Windows 10? I didn’t see any mention of Window 10 in System Requirement Document.

It does support Windows 10, Pro and Enterprise. You must again look at the system requirements guide and it is up to date.

I think the Issue is in my machin because I treid that in my colleges machin and its works fine and the installation was succussfuly I dont know what is the reason but seems to be that something is not ok with the machine !!??

I tell you what’s problem here, there could be something gone wrong in image file. I have noticed similar issue but with different error message, finally end-up of with partial installation like what you are showing in attached screens.

Try re-download image file and proceed on installation.

Worth installing like this, it worked.

1. Install Infrastructure
2. Install Platform Manager
3. Proceed on installing Integration Server and other components…
