  • 1.  Installing FixPack and Interin Fixes in Kubernetes

    Hi, we're upgrading a ODM 8.11.0.0 installation on certified Kubernetes.

    We want to install latest FixPack ODM 8.11.0.1 and  latest Fix ODM 8.11.0.1.1.

    The instructions to install the fixes explains only the option to download the container images, upload to a local registry and redeploy the helm chart pointing to the local registry.

     ¿Is there any option to install the fixes pointing the helm chart to the IBM image repository?

    ¿Which tag should reference the helm chart? ¿it does exist a tag 8.11.0.1.1 in repository cp.icr.io/cp/cp4a/odm?

    Hi experts, is not there any chance to deploy fixpacks in Kubernetes directly from cp.icr.io repository?

    What is IBM policy to update product images in official repository? only major releases?

    Hi,

    Sorry currently interim fixes for ODM on Kubernetes are only available through Fix Central. You are not the first to ask and we are working to deploy all fixes to the entitled registry this year. 
    Note that currently we publish the images for CP4BA in the registry and you should be able to use the images with 21.0.3 release to get the latest ODM 8.11.0.1 updates.
