Hi, Our customer attempt to install the IS6.0.1 on Windows 2003 Standard with SP2 gave them error “Exception in thread “main” java.lang.Error: can’t load javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel”.
I would like to know what causes this error at installation.
Any help is appreciated.
Hello, Do they have any working environments setup at their location? Are they using a java runtime other than the IBM 1.3 that comes with the product? What happens when they try to start it using the “server.bat” file instead of either the service call or “server.exe”. If they have access to the downloads, they should try to be in process to migrate to a 6.5 environment.
