    Good Day

We are running Informix 11.7FC7 on Windows2008R.

I am doing a level 0 restore of our database using ontape -p and then following it with  ontape -l to restore the logical logs. After the first log restore I keep on getting the following message

"Please mount tape 2 on x:\llog_backup and press Return to continue ...
Tape sequence number is 1, expecting 2 "

The logs are saved on disk. I have change the LTAPEDEV parameter to the next log file but it keeps on  showing the message.
When I do an ontape -r and salvage( salvage logs? y) the logs and then followed with restore logs(restore log? y) then the restore is successful.

Is this the correct process to follow?
How can I see the tape sequence number?

    Continue restore? (y/n)y
Do you want to back up the logs? (y/n)n
Read/Write End Of Medium enabled: blocks = 19976
    Restore a level 1 archive (y/n) n

    Program over.

    C:\Program Files\IBM\Informix\11.70>ontape -l

Roll forward should start with log number 296504

Please mount tape 1 on x:\llog_backup and press Return to continue ...
Read/Write End Of Medium enabled: blocks = 2

Please mount tape 2 on x:\llog_backup and press Return to continue ...
Tape sequence number is 1, expecting 2

Please mount tape 2 on x:\llog_backup and press Return to continue ...
Tape sequence number is 1, expecting 2

Please mount tape 2 on x:\llog_backup and press Return to continue ...
Tape sequence number is 1, expecting 2

    Thanks in advance.
