    No the rootvg is not mirrored, its just running on a single SAN LUN via 2 VIO servers, I wanted to be able to change the size of the rootvg without going through all this pain. Same is true for any other VG, just change the size of the disk and run chvg -g xxxvg and it works like a charm.

    But with DS4k (MPIO) it required a reboot of an lpar, after that it was increased, no way without it ... it might even even on the firmware of the storage ...
