We are currently using Maximo 7.1.1.7. We have been experiencing a problem with the inbound receipts interface. Very randomly, we get duplicate material receipts for a PO line. For example, say we have a PO with PO line 1. When we receive the receipts from our interface and they get processed, there will be 2 material receipts for PO line 1. This can occur when there are many PO lines or a single PO line, and the duplication can occur on some or all of the PO lines. We logged the receipt interface records coming inbound from our external system to see if 2 records were getting sent, but we are only receiving 1, so it seems like the problem lies within Maximo processing the interface record. The correct amount of records get inserted into the receipt interface record as well. We did a comparison of data to see if certain data is triggering it, but there is no pattern. It seems completely random, but there has to be something that is causing this.

Our receipt interface is set up as such:

An Enterprise Service with Object Structure containing just MXRECEIPTS. The Inbound Processing Class is psdi.iface.app.rcv.MaxRCVProcess. The Outbound Processing Class is psdi.iface.app.rcv.MoutRCVProcess.
