  • 1.  ILMT Switching from PVUs to RUs

    Hi All,

    Our license model is changing from PVUs to RU and I was wondering if I need to do anything to convert. I have the ILMT agent installed on the databases servers to monitor the current PVU count. I assume that these will no longer be required if the licensing is based on the number of database servers monitored by each collector. I'm also not sure how ILMT monitors the Guardium appliances. 

    Does anyone have any experience with Resource Unit licensing or know of any documentation that is available?

    Gordon,

    That is something best explained by your IBM Technical Sales Specialist.

    There are only a few items that can be installed on the appliances such as vmware tools and the ILMT tool is not one of them. You just need to keep track of them.
