Well, I wouldn't say that connection between agent and server is entirely fine....
Those 'Report Posted Successfully' messages means that BigFix Agent successfully communicated upwards: BigFix Agent -> BigFix Server.
The question is if BigFix Agent receives UDP notifications sent by BigFix Server...
I don't see any activities between 08:30 and 13:19...It look fishy.
To unequivocally confirm UDP notifications flow please force 'Send Refresh' (from Bigfix Console) against this BigFix Agent.
Agent log should confirm that message by following entry:
'ForceRefresh command received'
Anyhow, there is a useful trick to force the full BigFix Agent<->BigFix Server synchronization :
- stop the BigFix Agent,
- Delete the '/var/opt/BESClient/__BESData' folder,
- start the BigFix Agent,
That way BigFix Agent should receive all due actions...

As far as I can tell, the connection between our agent and server is fine.

To be honest 'kept failing with "no response"' doesn't say much....
So, what exactly do you see on Action tab ?
'Open' state with 'Not Reported' status or something else...
First troubleshooting step is to check the Agent local log file which exist under following path:
'/var/opt/BESClient/__BESData/__Global/Logs'
It's possible that BigFix Server<->Agent communication is broken/blocked...that is why BigFix Agent (BESClient) doesn't receive any actions...

We installed Red Hat Enterprise 8.7 on a server and then integrated it into ILMT. But unfortunately it does not transmit any software products, catalog cores, serial numbers, etc. Does somebody has any idea ??
