  • 1.  IGI - can be the Sharepoint adapter installed with the VA SDI?

    Posted Tue November 26, 2019 02:26 PM
Hi all. Is it possible to install and configure the IGI Sharepoint adapter (part number CC3MUML) in Virtual Appliance with the built-in SDI instance? Trying to follow the installation procedure and was able to upload Connector JAR file but I am stuck now with the requirement to create TDI_HOME\timsol\SharePointAdapter folder and upload JSOU file with authentication provider in it. Is that supposed to be possible or am I required to install a new SDI instance where I have a full control? Thanks in advance!

I had a quick look at the documentation and it's not clear. I think you've hit the crux of the problem - you can install the connector jar file but the VA won't allow you to get in and modify the TDI installation files/folders to create the SharePointAdapter folder and put files there. I've posted your question on an internal forum and hopefully someone will confirm.

The word from support is that you need an external TDI/SDI installation.
