  • 1.  Identity Manager 6.0 Error installing fixpack 25

    Hi there,

    I am trying to install fixpack 25 for ISIM 6.0.0. Our current FP level is 6.0.0.10

    I ran the Update Installer from WebSphere and the installer got to the following step before failing:

    Configuration failed. The config action that failed was: BackupITIMEar

    I would appreciate any insights or troubleshooting steps I can take to resolve this.

    There can be endless reasons for this - what you need to do if you dare to try to debug this yourself is to go through the install logs and look where it fails.

    But I would definitely advice you to raise a case - and if you do so I will recommend you to use the support tool to generate the necessary files to IBM Support.

    You are looking at the right one it seems (you were not very specific in your error description - hence the problem could basically anything...)

    Take a look at this technote : Manually installing ITIM Fix Packs and Interim Fixes
