I would say that 99.99% of all people that read PDFs do so on a desktop O/S that is still supported. I doubt IBM will change from PDF as they use it across the board for all O/S and Hardware platforms, not just System p and AIX .. There are plenty of open source projects that will still support AIX. Although they may pull support for the reader, that does not mean that if you have a current copy that it will just stop working, they mean future development and support.

seriously. the few people with a pure aix attitude should still be able to use lx86 to run the Adobe supported linux32 binary.
