I know that there are the Redbooks but sometimes they are just too overwhelming, a good example being the NIM A-Z which rolls in at an astonishing 680 odd pages (my copy of Dickens's A Tale of Two Cities is only about 400 pages!) which is rather daunting for me!

So are there any sites out there such as Sun's BigAdmin System Administration Portal which provide Tech Tips, Howtos etc etc ? I know that there are plenty of sites that provide drips and drabs of info but what I am looking for are such items collated in one place!

There are many demos and tutorials around but I am not aware of one spot for all of them.

Take a look at this site that has a bunch of short "movies" that could be helpful. If you are looking in a specific area post it up.

By all means have these books as the authoritative reference but there should be a much simpler set of guides. As a way of example the Sun "How to install and configure a two node cluster" rolls in at a mere 14 pages! Of course the latter is a very very basic guide, missing out a lot but it is very simple indeed!
