When I see the result of the nmon file (nmonchart or nmon analyser) what is the IBM guideline (%) for the use of processors? Based on the answers I have to see the slide "CPU Utilization", am I right ?
I'm asking because I always show the first slide of the "Physical CPU" used to the sales team, because they always want to know how many processors they want to sell.
As you will see on many clients, the use of the physical processor reaches the maximum consumption of what the profile has, but the percentage of cpu utilization does not show the same information.
Is there any link or some data that I can use for recommendations to the sales team and especially to the customers?
