Thank You, Sonica.
Please let us know when IBM makes the decision to phase out either AIX or webMethods past 2028.
Thank You.

Subject: IBM AIX support for webMethods?
Hello Dave, Gerardo,
We have updated our support for AIX for webMethods 10.15 products.
webMethods 10.15 is supported on AIX till October 2027 (EOM) and October 2028 (EOSS). For any IBM AIX JVM technical issues, please reach out to Support and IBM will help in addressing any JVM issues.
There is no plan to support AIX past webMethods 10.15 release.
If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
Regards,
Sonica

Good point. I didn't notice that. The document is not consistent
Here is the original end of life notice from Software Ag. Would be good for IBM to publicly clarify if this announcement still stands
The statement "Due to the unavailability of support from IBM for the JVM after 2025" is certainly no longer accurate

Hi,
This is a little confusing to follow.
The lifecycle page you mentioned leads me to this page, which doesn't mention the Operating Systems supported: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/announcements/webmethods-111-helps-clients-create-connected-experiences-customers-employees-partners?region=US
The document you are referring to, which is not (yet?) on IBM's domain, does not list AIX as a supported system BUT in the "Delivered JDKs for On-Premises IBM webMethods Products" indicates AIX receives the "Semeru IBM Java 17" to be used with Integration Server v11.1.
So either a column for AIX was cropped when creating the PDF or the AIX column in the JVM was left unintentionally.
It seems very strange that IBM would remove support for its own OS on this product...
This leads me to the question: IF AIX support is being dropped, what is the migration path for current customers of this platform?
Best regards,

This old Empower tool exists, but I'm not sure it is still being updated for webMethods products. It doesn't list the 11.1 release at all
https://empower.softwareag.com/Products/ProductAvailability/default.aspx
The IBM tool is here
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/lifecycle/search?q=webmethods
Only lists 11.1. AIX is not supported in 11.1
https://docs.webmethods.io/on-premises/system_platform_requirements/11.1.0/pdf/system_requirements_for_webmethods_products.pdf
I don't speak for them, but I was told IBM has made a change in the end of AIX support dates for version 10.15.

Hi,
Is there a product availability page for webMethods for the AIX platform with end-of-support dates?
Thanks.
