After i have installed and configured the IBMtape4.2.1.3 on my Server (Unix) successfully but i did not find out tapeutil tool with this package in the home directory /opt/IBMtape, however i saw some executable flies as tapelist, ztapelist. I wonder if this tapeutil should be installed seperately ? or it's included with which release of the IBMtape4.x.x.x.x ?.
My purpose is to use tapeutil for downloading the Microcode for the Library & the Drive.

tapeutil is sunset now and no long packed with all of IBM tape drivers. You need to download ITDT utility to replace tapeutil.

This is a portal to enter our download area. There are a few pull down menus to get you to the correct download as follows:
1. In the first pull down menu labeled "Product Group" select "Storage Systems".
2. In the next pull down menu that appears which is labeled "Product Family" select "Tape Systems".
3. With the next pull down menu, "Product Type", select "Tape Device Drivers and Software".
4. This will in turn bring up the "Product" menu.
1). This menu allows you to select the "ITDT".
2). Platform: in order to download your driver, select the correct operating system. You can select the generic form of the platform (ie. Linux) and all device drivers for that platform will come up. (after you click continue on this and the next option)
3). The next screen allows you to narrow the search if you need however just clicking "Continue" will allow you to look at what is available.
