i am trying to install SCOM 2012 agent on AIX 6.1 through SSH discovery but it's getitng failed with some generic error (syntax error) which is misleading. I am suspecting something wrong with rexec so need to enable rexec logging.

Kindly let me know how to enable rexec logging & where to check those logs.

Appreciate any response to resolve this issue. Actually i am trying to debug an issue where installaing SCOM 2012 agent on AIX 6.1 remotely (through ssh discovery) but it's not getting through. very weired, same agent i can install on other AIX 6.1 systems. not getting any clue on SCOM side which is giving a very generic message. so need to debug it on AIX Side. any clue how to trace/capture any process running on AIX.

    Regards,

I'm not sure how much logging you will get, but you can at least see which system (or ip) is using rexec
