Hi, we are using FileNet API to download document. Recently we enabled Role based redaction on ICN and it works fine on ICN. However, when we try to download the document using FileNet APIs, the document displays the sensitive content even though the User doesn't have redaction role. How can we make sure Role based redaction is applied on the Document even with the FileNet APIs.

I believe Role Based Redaction is a function of the ICN Viewer and not the CPE itself. When you bypass the viewer it can't apply the Annotations that are used to perform he redaction. I believe you would need to save a copy of the document with the redaction "burned in" for it to work from the API.
