How to decide VG varyon or NOT varyon in standby node?

    example:
    hostA: testvg ,rootvg
    hostB: testvg ,rootvg

testvg varyon on hostA,NOT varyon on hostB

How to decide VG varyon status in hostB.

use command lqueryvg? or command odmget?

if you did not configure it that way you have to change the cluster configuration. if you did configure it to be varyon on node b (made it part of a rg with node b as participating node and use a ecm vg with fast disk takeover for example) it might be varied off because cluster services are not running on the node b.

anyway, read it up. hacmp is not self explaining.

Here is also the same case, Could you give more details? Got the workaround? I've been concerned about the issue.
