How to bind a keyboard key to a Webmethods Control

  • 1.  How to bind a keyboard key to a Webmethods Control

    Posted Thu February 19, 2009 07:36 PM

    Hi,

I need to bind specific keyboard keys to some controls in my webMethods Portlet. There is a property almost under each control called Access Key which has tooltip saying “Keyboard shorcut letter” which is exactly what I need, but I cannot make it work. I tried letters, ‘’ with a letter, “” with a letter… nothing worked. Could somebody provide me a list of possible values this property can take? or some examples?

    Thanks.

Make sure you are using the correct key combinations to trigger the AccessKey.

This page describes it pretty well:

    Thanks for the help.

I was able to access to the control I linked the Access Key to. But now, I got another question. Is there a way to trigger the control with a keyboard shorcut instead of just accessing it?

    Thanks.

This looks just for anchor links - I think this is probably what your looking for:
