    Hi Miguel,

every PTF (Program Temporary Fix) has a related IBM Support documentation called a Cover Letter that has all the necessary information you would need.

    Fix Information: FI0132232

You can find there all the prerequisite PTFs, if any, and PTF apply instructions.

All of the pre-PTFs can be download included with this PTF from the Fix Central.

    Regards, M.

Miguel - Those are just like the "old" SI PTFs....just a new naming convention. If you aren't familiar with installing PTFs in general, then you should definitely look at the cover letter for instructions etc. Also, the new naming convention of MJ replaces the "MF" naming convention for LICPTFs.

    Hi Miguel,

Have you downloaded the PTF yet?

If your IBM i has internet access you can use the command SNDPTFORD PTFID((SJ02563)) ORDER(*REQUIRED) and then you go to "GO PTF", then option 8, select *SERVICE for "Device", Y or N depending if you want/can do an "Automatic IPL", select 3 in "Prompt for media", and you can leave the rest as is. But as per PTF activation instructions you will need an IPL.

If you don't have internet on the IBM i, you will have to get it from Fix Central, like Michal wrote on his comment, then upload it to a folder in the IFS, create an image catalog with the CRTIMGCLG IMGCLG(<image_catalog_name_at_your_choosing>) DIR('/home/<folder_where_iso_file_is>') CRTDIR(*NO) ADDVRTVOL(*DIR) and then mount the image catalog on a virtual OPT (WRKIMGCLG), and again "GO PTF", then option 8, this time select the device description of the virtual OPT for "Device", Y or N depending if you want/can do an "Automatic IPL", select 3 in "Prompt for media", and you can leave the rest as is.

    Regards.

P.S. - You can also see how to download and install PTF's here
