How does "Rake weights" work in SPSS?

It would be great if someone could explain the working of rake weights from what it is to how to implement it with an example. Video or sites for reference will be really appreciated.

Rake weighting is available in SPSS Statistics via the SPSSINC RAKE (Data > Rake Weights) extension command, which can be installed via the Extensions > Extension Hub menu.

When you install this extension, you also get this document

    Raking with IBM SPSS Statistics.pdf

that explains how raking works and what the issues might be.

The document is installed in the SPSSINC_RAKE directory on the extensions path. Run SHOW EXT and look at the extensions directories listed to find this directory.
