1- While using HMC GUI to install VIOS , I could track down the progression of the installation from HMC GUI and had to open SSH session to the HMC in order to keep an eye on the installation.

I suggest making tracking the installation progression easier from one place which is HMC GUI.


2- It will be much easier and smoother ,if HMC enables us to SCP the VIOS image into the HMC . This is much needed in case I am remotely located and have no physical access to the HMC and the machine.
Yes , we can NFS/SFTP the image but that requires extra efforts . If we can simply SCP the image to a specific file in HMC and the user then pinpoint the installation wizard to it , it will be great and smooth.
