    at least on page 6 of document:

    we can see written that port numbering begins from upper port...

    so in AIX T1 is upper and T2 lower.

    it may be that on placing of WWN labels on the HBA can also indicate specific port...

    Also, I was finally able to visit the datacenter and cross checked with the stickers as well... port0 is the top one and port1 is the bottom.
