Hi, I am running Maximo 7.5.0.9 and I have the Job Plan revision control on and when I revise a Job Plan I get this error.

BMXAA4195E - A value is required for the Job Plan field.

    Anyone have any Ideas?

    Hi,

I work in Maximo support for IBM. I searched the usual places and do not find an exact match for the problem you are having. I found a close one when using the Calibration add-on but it was fixed in the 7.1 days, even before your 7.5 version.

If you have an extended support contract you could open a Case with us

You could also turn on logging using the Logging application. Highlight the 'application' Root Logger in the top part of the screen and then use New Row in the Logger part at the bottom to add one for Job Plans. Then look in the SystemOut.Log to see if you capture the error and perhaps it will give you a clue as to the problem. It never happens for me when I do that but I can then have development analyze it.

    cheers .................dick

The logging did not work for me, however so far I have traced it to if I add a Job Plan Task the error occurs.

    Hi Larry,

You really need to open a Case with Maximo support. Then we can have development analyze the logs or whatever else might be necessary.

Other than that are you using any Automation Scripts that may be impacting this? You can turn on SQL and AUTOSCRIPT Logging, too, to see if you can learn more.

Does it happen for all Job Plans or just a few? If just a few you could duplicate them and see if the duplicates work better.

    cheers ...............dick
