HACMP/XD over PPRC , site isolation quesion

    My question is about preventing site isolation to protect from failover if the product system is still runing.
    1. I know that ethernet can transmit heartbeat, I wonder if there is another way to transmit heartbeat?
    2. how to prevent site isolation if there is not other way to transmit heartbeat?
