    The updates certainly are free, just like the AIX operating system.

    Once you manage to install the HA software, there is another forum for HA discussion.
    (HACMP is now called PowerHA...)

    What I meant is that if you have purchased the product and months later you have a bad/missing cd, you can raise a ticket with IBM and that particular cd would be available for download via ftp/shipped. Thats what we follow.

    So Varun if you do not have a HA support contract with IBM, you need to purchase it.
