Anyone has a good solution for automating the process of getting a csv file (created by TI process) from the cloud environment to a local (shared) drive?

The local user most work locally with the export file without having to share the credentials for logging on to the shared folder on IBM Cloud. So are think of pushing the file to the user when the user run the export process.

Hi Jesper, good to see you here ;)

Easiest option would probably be to use Cognos Command Center: 1) run TI process 2) run FTP to grap the file from Cloud and store locally.

... or even without CCC you could schedule FTP to "poll" the Cloud share and get the file.

I agree with Jaakko - IBM Cognos Command Centre is a great soluion for automating that kind of activity.

You can schedule Command Centre to run those actions, or configure it to check for certain conditions - a value in a log file, for example - before it kicks off any activity.

What I really like is the ability to set up escalation paths to handle errors - for example, if the TI doesn't complete, wouldn't you like to the process again, Or send a message to someone so that they can investigate?

That is definitely worth checking out at https://www.ibm.com/us-en/marketplace/process-automation
