Getting errors while installing Broker server from Installer

    I am trying to Install Broker server 6.5 from installer 7 but I am getting the follwoing error :

    java.lang.NullPointerException
    e2ei/11/Broker652_092506/Broker/Broker/panels/BrokerConfigPGPanel
    com.wm.installer.broker.BrokerConfigPGPanel
    java.lang.NullPointerException

    Did you every find a resolution to your problem installing broker from installer 7?

    Hi,

    please check if you are using an account with local administration rights for the XP Box you are running on. Otherwise the Installer might be unable to complete the Configuration of the broker and might fail while registering the according Windows Services (Broker Monitor and Broker Server).

    Unfortunately there is no option on Windows to install without administration rights.

    Hi Clark,

    depends if you are trying to install IS as a Service or as a local Application.

    Maybe you should try to download the image once again.
    Sometimes the content of the image is partially damaged, which is very hard to detect.

    Be careful when trying to configure the Broker against a mounted data directory. See Installation Guide for details.
