    Hi experts,

    When I try to open Central Management in Central Manager, I'm getting this error message.

    "There has been an Error. Please Contact your System Administrator"

    What is your patch version? Did you recently make any changes?

    Hi Jennifer,

    I was trying to register a new managed unit from CM Central Management page. After registration, I get user syncronization error with a pop-up.

    New managed unit is registered but after this operation I get "There has been an Error. Please contact your system administrator".

    There have been a number of fixes delivered since 11.4p440 regarding registration of managed units.

    I would recheck the shared secret as a first step.

    Then I would get to at least 11.4p470 as I have seen as least two related fixes.

     

    There have been many sniffer updates and security fixes since 440 and keep in mind that 11.4 goes out of support on 4/30/25

    Hi Arda,

    I've experienced this issue before when I tried to open an alert in the Alert builder. Someone must have configured something or changed something in the menu. I advise you to find out your current patch version and see if you can upgrade to the latest patch or trying contact someone in IBM, specifically Guardium Support, to rollback Guardium with the original out-of-the-box version of what you clicked on.
