  • 1.  FTPS with TLS?

    Posted Fri January 26, 2007 10:37 AM

    Hi,

We have implemented FTPS on wM 6.5.
Now we got a new customer who wants to send and receive files through “FTPS with TLS for connection” and “FTPS with TLS for connection/data”.

I am not sure whether webMethods support TLS(Transport Layer Security) protocol to exchange files using FTPS.So please let me know whether it is possible and webMethods support TLS?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Kash.

    Kash

Since you have implemented this can you let me know the steps.
We have a requirement where another application will ftp an encrypted file to WM server and WS needs to send it to a Vendor using FTPS. Can you let me know your email id incase we face some issues while implementing this new process.

    Thanks
    Siby

    Hi Kash,
I am trying to implement FTPs in WM6.5 Trading Partners. What all we need to do to do FTPs. I did install the certificate. but still getting the following errors.

← 220 IWSS FTP proxy ready
    → USER SYRTCFTO@209.95.224.76

← 503 USER: Server policy requires that all clients be secured.
    → TYPE A

← 500 TYPE command not understood. You must login first.

    Regards

    Deepak
