  • 1.  FTPS to remote server

    Posted Thu May 21, 2009 10:59 PM

    Hi,

We have WM IS sever which is connected to external partners through proxy server.

Now as per the current requirement we need to do ftps to external partner.

Can anyone help me in telling what all the things need to be done to do FTPS from webMethods.

    Hi,

You need to configure FTPS port on IS. Also should have certificates configured for authentication.Refer IS admin guide for configuring ftps port.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Shahid.

But in our case WM is sending data through FTPS to the client.
Does we need to configure FTPS ports in WM for this scenario.

you are right in this scenario you might not need configuring FTP Port. You can directly use inbuilt FTP Services to do FTP Operations.
