Re: Framework Manager - Import/Validate/Cognos Run SQL Stored Procedure with embedded spaces in the sproc name

I can import the SQL Stored Procedure (sproc) into Framework Manager (FM), but it will not validate and run without me manually adding the [sproc name with spaces] brackets around the Query Subject Definition / Stored Procedure Name. But then when i Save and Publish, Cognos says that they cannot find the object. So my work around is to Validate and Test in FM with the manually added [ ] around the name. Then remove the brackets and save then publish. This works ... but it is a bit of trickery that i may not remember in the future. Anyone have any suggestions?

Manually added brackets [ ] around the name

Looking at the query information tab, i can see that the way it is called from Cognos sql and native sql is different. Cognos sql added quotes around my brackets. Which is a problem. native sql took the sproc name as it was entered (with my manually adding the brackets). I have to use cognos sql because we use a data source (HBI)
