    I am also guessing that the cfgmgr error "cfgefscsi -l fscsi1, cannot find child device" is related.
    Ideas anyone ?

    i had similar problems with ds4800 for 1 or 2 times, they were zoning problems between host and storage.
    can you check zoning in SAN and host ports definitions in storage.
