Windows (2000 Prof sp3) crashed, with blue screen of death, for unrelated reasons.

Now, when starting database, smh says “Failed to create XTS directory service entries: XTS0062E: XTS Timeout error”, with message id “INODSE5271”.

Database fails to start.

The XTS service is running:

Actually, the problem was that I changed the IP address of the server.

Better in this case to have the following in etc\hosts instead of a fixed IP address:

127.0.0.1 localhost SAGXTSDShost
