We had a problem in replacing an Ethernet Card on a 8204-E4A server. The problem is that it can not remove the card ent3.
We tried to replace the Ethernet Card with concurrent procedure in both ways from HMC and from AIX (VIOS). The procedure failed with the attached errors from HMC.

After that we tried to remove it manualy with the rmdev -Rdl ent3, the output is as below:

    > # rmdev -Rdl ent3

Could you help us how to replace it in concurrent mode??

    Thanks and

    Best regards

After that everything worked fine.
