I got this errors while starting a new created db, can anyone tell me what’s go wrong?

You seem to use the Tamino version supplied with the XML Starter Kit. The license for this edition expires after 90 days. May that be the case?

If it is, and you have found Tamino to be useful, please contact your Software AG sales rep to get
a) another test license
b) a “real” developer license
c) to go live with your application a “real” server license.

Thanks for your response…But I have just started today…the licence I got is counting from today.

this is one of the fatal error I got :

XML initialization:SXS initialization failed: SXF caller: initialization failed INOXHF8220

when I check on the details for “INOXHF8220”, the suggestion is contact the tamino support b’coz of the internal error…

what should I do for this?

Was this your first database? Did the installation complete without errror?

MAybe it could help to reinstall the Database System.

If this doesn’t help, you should contact the support number stated on the XML Starter Kit, it is there for you!

Could it be that something is wrong with your JRE or JDK installation, like version != 1.2, jvm not in path or some of the usual java troubles?

Yes, this is my first try, the installation process is fine. I didn’t see any error massage prompting out.
Anyway, I’m using JDK 1.3. Will it matter? But I’m running weblogic 6 as well. It need the JDK 1.3…
If I need to uninstall the Tamino Database, what should I do?

is done by way of the standard windows facility “Add/Remove programs” in Control Panel.

You could install Java 1.2.2 in parallel to 1.3, but it should run on 1.3 as well.

If after re-install it further declines to work, contact Software AG support.
