Could you try to change regional settings in Language & Region settings on Mac?

It is possible that the Mac can has Region Setting on USA and so it should be set to current Region.

If you still need to license you should try the command line tool "licenseactivator". The License Wizard is going to fail from version 25 as the wizard is 32-bit and Mac will refuse to run 32-bit apps on the newest OS versions. (It doesn't seem to block the wizard from being run by Statistics itself, so if you launch Statistics and it sees no license one of the options it gives will launch the wizard which seems to still work when run this way.)

An example using Terminal to do this:

    cd /Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/25/SPSSStatistics.app/Contents/bin

    ./licenseactivator <Authorization Code>

Replacing "<Authorization Code>" with your code.

Once licensing is completed the normal launch icon should work.

    Hello,

You may want to contact Surfspot for support.

Are you changing folders before trying to run these commands? You can check your current folder by typing "pwd" command into terminal. It should indicate the following as your current folder before you run licenseactivator:

    /Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/25/SPSSStatistics.app/Contents/bin

    Hello,

My apologies for not being clear. I am assuming we are still working within a Terminal session, so both changing directories and the "pwd" command would be in reference to that Terminal session.

To change a directory you use the "cd" command. This was included in my previous example so I assume this was done, but the error you showed seemed to indicate the jar file was trying to be accessed from your user folder (which I do not understand, nor can I replicate).

pwd is the command to Pring Working Directory, so it is the normal way to check was folder you are in.

Isn't there a possibility to explain this via phone? I can't figure it out on my own. I am definitely not an IT expert as I can see right now

    Hello,

Support via phone would only be possible as a paid for service (part of standard support when you purchase the product directly from IBM, although we also provide support via our online case system and depending on the issue we use a mixture of written communication, phone, and remote desktop assistance via tools such as Webex). As you have purchased through a reseller you should be able to contact the reseller for support (if they offer phone support or not I cannot say).
