  • 1.  Error between AAC and AAC DB

    Hello,
    kindly l'm facing an issue on AAC caused that the runtime time interfaces are down as we are using an external db2 database that connected to AAC and we connect successfully with DB, 
    i get the below on log trace: 
    "com.ibm.tscc.rtss.storage.spif.DBStorageRuntimeServiceImpl I Unable to get connection to DB at[Thu Jul 01 12:44:27 EET 2021]. If the DB is down for a legitimate reason then this is to be expected.
    844 [7/1/21 12:44:27:646 EET] 0000005c id=00000000 com.ibm.tscc.rtss.storage.spif.DBStorageRuntimeServiceImpl E CTGVS3519E An error occurred while performing the SQL query "SELECT UPDATETIME FROM RTSS_STATE WHERE id='policy'".
    845 java.lang.IllegalStateException: Module has been uninstalled."

    You might want to contact support and tell them you need the fix for APAR IJ32498.

    The issue is (if it is the same as ours) that the AAC/Federation module is stuck in some sort of half-shutdown state where it is half-done with its shutdown, but never completes it - if it looks like the same to you this fix should hopefully help you as well.
